This is a compilation of articles presented during the Symposium on Studies of Philippine-Spanish Relations: Evaluations and Prospects commemorating the Philippine-Spanish Friendship Day Celebration held on June 20, 2008 at the National Museum of the Philippines. With public interest resurging for the renewal of Filipino-Spanish relations, the topics undoubtedly bridge a lot of historical gaps and bring more information to our educators concerning our Hispanic heritage. A clearer knowledge of our colonial past will hopefully foster a stronger bond between Spain and the Philippines.
